My Oufit Look: Sportluxe

Awww, I hope you all had a stunning weekend! I sure did, my weekend was beyond busy as always but I always find time to get out and about to explore new places within Cape Town. I’ve been living here my entire life but still find places I have never seen or have been too.  It’s like little gems, I tell you.
Hubby and I decided to take a drive through the Cape Winelands and ended up at Franschhoek. Ah it’s such a beautiful place.

Usually I’m more drawn to the sophisticated, smart clothing with heels but lately I’ve been feeling the “Sportluxe” vibe and Cotton On has everything to do with it.

There are so many exciting things happening in the Cotton On camp!
Following the new Cotton On store opening at the V&A Waterfront it is literally a one stop shop destination for all things CHIC…

So this is what I wore and the entire clothing look can be shopped at Cotton On, if you don’t have a pair of white All Stars to finish off this look, just wear white sneakers! Voila xx So go off and shop this look at your nearest Cotton On store...

You would be looking Chic…for days!

Revlon Colorstay: Liquid Liner

I have been on the search for a Liquid Liner that doesn’t fade, is dark and has a good consistency for a while now. My colleague and I went and raided a department store and tried quite a few liquid liners, but I must admit this one was in my opinion is…GREAT.
The product consistency is perfect, not to watery and not to thick. I loved the fact that the black pigment was a deep black and the product itself is not streaky when applied.
PS: I have not yet perfected the perfect winged eye, but I wanted to show you how it looks when applied to an actual eye. I must admit this product sits very well to your eyelid, so good that at night it takes me quiet a while to remove.
So if you are wanting to give a new Liquid Liner a try, this Revlon Color Stay is a great option.

Essence: Colour & Go

I know, I know it’s not summer yet? But does your heart not just melt at this pretty coral and red nail polish from Essence.
We always tend to move towards the darker shades when winter approach, but funny enough I tend to wear bright coloured nails all year around. I just love all the colour shades that Essence has come up with and as soon as I enter any Clicks store... want to guess where I gravitate to? Yip the Essence Booth.
I could probably overload you with pretty Essence Polishes but I’ll save you & only show you a few.

Are you rocking any pretty Essence Polishes?

EVENT: Maaji Swimwear Launch

So last night I attended the Maaji Swimear Launch. We got greeted with Coconut water and some very fun festivities. The setting of the launch was literally like a treasure map landscape where you would visit different spots and tick off with an “X” where you’ve been and once you’ve completed the map your name would be entered into a draw.
I started off at the Nail bar, where the lovely Foxbox ladies were creating signature nail art with the use of Toy Nail Polish. I chose a pretty flower print which blended beautifully with nail colour I already had on.

Oh and the picture below was me, gushing to the Brand Manager of Toy Nail Polish about how I love the polishes she sent me and how much I love the colour ranges! PS: a litle birdie menthioned that their website would be launching soon... super excited about that :)

After I done my nail art, I got my 1st “X” and could then choose a beautiful coloured Maaji headband and get my hair styled at one of the workstations.

All around and in-between the crowd was gorgeous models wearing the signature Maaji Swimwear and they were more than willing to pose for a picture xx The swimwear pieces had the loveliest fun and querky prints and I can definitely see myself rocking one of those swimsuits in Summer. Oh and the ice lolies took me way back to my highschool day...

It was really such a fun, light hearted evening and the snacks were AMAZING!
We had moustaches drawn unto our fingers and myself and blogger buddy Anja from Glitz & Grammar had tons of laughs on the fact that I couldn’t keep my moustache in the right place, my finger kept moving around!
It really was a lovely evening and a spectacular launch.

Lush South Africa

So the question is who doesn't like pretty coloured bath bubbles? Well if you are like me and love all the products that are stocked at the Lush store in V&A Waterfront then we can be friends!
Every single time I enter the Lush store, I feel like I’m in an animated movie with all the whimsical colours and lovely fragrances calling my name. Yes it sounds rather dramatic, but trust me you will love it as much as I do.
So last week I attended the Mimco launch and I happened to pop into the Lush store with my camera in one hand and loads of space left on my memory card. I just couldn’t control myself and ended up having such a lovely time chatting to the ladies that work at Lush and they ended swatching and testing product with me.

What is your favourite Lush product?
