My Outfit Look: You can’t sit with us

I have so many new look post to load for your viewing pleasure, but I’ll start with the shoot I did with Lisa Wayne Creations and I only got around to going through the images now. So ill be loading it bit by bit.
So I’m all for comfortable chic looks and this one is definitely one of those. I love signature blazers as it’s one of those items that just add that extra bit of special to any look, this shoulder sequence blazer I bought at Foschini aswell as this WWW animal printed peplum. I paired it with dark wash denims and a cork wedge from Luella.
Hope you liked this lookbook xx

My Outfit Look: Little White Dress

I have so many new look post to load for your viewing pleasure, but I’ll start with the shoot I did with Lisa Wayne Creations and I only got around to going through the images now. So ill be loading it bit by bit.
I’ll give you a bit of outfit information, this dress is another one which I got a while ago from Foschini, it’s like my back up little white dress. It’s just such an elegant easy, flowing style that I end up wearing over and over. I would merely add another bag, shoes & accessories and this dress looks so fresh all over again.
The heels are Luella, and the clutch I actually cannot remember where it’s from. Sorry.

Hope you liked this lookbook xx

My Outfit Look: Famous

I have so many new look post to load for your viewing pleasure, but I’ll start with the shoot I did with Lisa Wayne Creations and I only got around to going through the images now. So ill be loading it bit by bit.
I love this easy going t-shirt I purchased from Mr Price aswell as this Black Bag looking skirt. When I saw this skirt it looked so daring and fun, I knew that I just had to have it. The Celine inspired handbag I purchased from Mr Price aswell a couple of months prior. Really such gems.

Seeing that this skirt and t-shirt was black and rather dark, I really wanted some pop of colour and fell madly in-love with these cobalt heels I purchased at Fashion Express. Aren't they just a breath of fresh air…

Hope you like my lookbook xx

My Outfit Look: Elegant & Chic

I have so many new look post to load for your viewing pleasure, but I’ll start with the shoot I did with Lisa Wayne Creations and I only got around to going through the images now.
This dress is from Foschini, I got it quiet a while ago and I never got the right occasion wear it hence I thought to live a little and just wear it. I thought a fun twist would be pairing it with a neon neck piece from Mr Price and pretty gold heels from Fashion Express.
Hope you like this lookbook xx

Dermaceutic Sun Ceutic SPF 50

So slowly but surely you can see that summer is drawing closer.

I was so excited when I had received this product at a product launch I attended at the One & Only Hotel as I’m a huge fanatic when it comes to skincare and protecting you skin.
We had received this Dermaceutic Sun Ceutic product with an SPF 50 which made me very excited.
This product has a very high sun protection (SPF 50) preventing the formation of dark spots while initiating facial rejuvenation and thus combating premature ageing of the skin. Dermaceutic Sun Ceutic is more than just a sunscreen: it combines the benefits of the powerful stem cell stimulator phycosaccharide AIP, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera.  Its microdispersed mineral filters guarantee perfect transparency.  It contains both physical and chemical UVA and UVB protecting ingredients and powerful anti-ageing agents.
Sun Ceutic creates a strong protective barrier, provides hydration and is easy to use. Free of Oxybenzone, Octocrylene, Paraben or Fragrance.

You need to get your hands on this product, this is how:

So this will be my go to product for this coming Summer months, better safe than sorry xx

Dermalogica Face Mapping & Analysis

I was super excited when I was invited by Heather a fun loving blogger at Femme Lifestyle to attend a Dermalogica skin mapping event as a guest with "bloggers who bless" girls.
I arrived at the Dermalogica at Wembley Square and was welcomed by all the lovely bloggers. The dermalogica ladies then explain to us the skin mapping process. We were explained that our face will be divided into 14 sections and they will the bit by bit analyze those key areas.
So results of skin reveals your skins condition as well as the products most effective at delivering all-over skin health. To access your progress and accuracy of your product regimen, you need to receive a face mapping every 4-6 weeks.
So after my face analysis it showed that I had some signs dehydration & comedones- which stands for aka blackheads. Eeeekkkk when I looked into the mirror that was definitely not what I saw, but I guess when they looking at it with a microscope there is very little that could hide.
OK so it sucked to have that written all over my face analysis map but the cool part was that they prescribed us products that specifically suited our problems.
Everyone had a different problem and that was what made it so awesome, that Dermalogica has a product to suit every skin issue that was thrown at them.
After getting our skin mapped the Dermalogica lady called Lucinda showed us how to remove our makeup, and apply all the various product which was prescribed for us.
It really was such an informative session.
These 3 below products are currently my favourite and is perfect for my skin the special cleansing gel, daily microfoliant & active moist.
I would really recommend you to get your face mapped as it highlights any concerns that can tackle now before it becomes too late.

#BedfordProjectStyle

So I know, I’ve got a lot of JHB based readers as well and I thought I’d let you in on this treat.
As a mutual lover of fashion, I don’t know who wouldn’t want an R50k gift card, and an international stylist to go shopping with you for a makeover xx

Yip so now that I’ve got your attention, Bedford, one of Johannesburg’s premier fashion and shopping destinations in conjunction with renowned international stylist for the BAFTA’s, Royal Family and Celebrities - Sophia Branch, are giving shoppers the opportunity to find their style and fashion voice with the launch of #BedfordProjectStyle, where one consumer can win a R50 000 Bedford Gift Card, makeover and personalized shopping spree.

With an opportunity to be #StyledbySophia, this is no ordinary makeover and shopping experience, as the winner will have the opportunity to have the London-born stylist personally tailor their look from clothing to accessories, to hair and make-up styling.  “Our shoppers are connoisseurs of fashion, and the centre is in fact styled by the evolving European-inspired brands that create it. #BedfordProjectStyle is an exciting new campaign that will culminate in a celebration of style on the 4th of October with a fashion show of the latest spring and summer looks curated and #StyledbySophia. Not only will it allow us to showcase the latest trends in partnership with our tenants in the mall, but more importantly celebrate our loyal consumers, by offering one of them a R50 000 Bedford Gift Card, makeover and personalized shopping spree courtesy of the sensational stores in the centre,” explains Nikki Savides, Marketing Manager for Bedford. In order to enter the competition one simply needs to spend R300 or more at any store at Bedford before the 22nd of September. The winner will then be randomly drawn and have their makeover revealed at the #BedfordProjectStyle fashion show and event on the 4th of October at 15h00.

“Finding the perfect ‘look-book’ is not an easy task, but through #BedfordProjectStyle we will be able to provide fashionistas with the perfect inspiration. Whether it be through mood boards posted on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, or through the curated looks #StyledbySophia for the fashion show, we have no doubt that this campaign will help our discerning shoppers find and refine their style and fashion voice,” concludes Savides.

Elle Rising Star Design Awards: Finalists

So last year I attended the Elle Rising Star Design Awards in association with MrP is presented by African Fashion International (AFI) and I am so excited that it will once again be taking place this year.
ELLE and MrP have once again joined forces to offer an amazing opportunity for young, talented and aspiring fashion designers to Kick-start a career in fashion and the opportunity to work in collaboration with Mr Price to launch their own fashion label. The competition seeks to find a designer who understands the aesthetic but also the commerce of contemporary fashion and has the necessary ambition to grow a successful fashion brand.

This year the ELLE Rising Star Design Award in association with MrP is presented by African Fashion International (AFI) and the finalists will show their designs at the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Africa 2014 where the winner will be announced. For the first time, designers from across Africa were invited to enter. As in previous years, the panel of judges had a difficult task when it came to selecting the seven finalists.
ELLE South Africa’s publisher Gisèle Wertheim Aymés says: ‘We are greatly encouraged by the number and quality of entries. Our judges were rigorous in ensuring the finalists are indeed some of Africa’s finest rising design stars and interestingly enough, the shortlist is dominated by entries from the Western Cape. We look forward to seeing the talent of these top seven come to life on the ramp during AFI’s Mercedes-Benz Africa Fashion Week Africa in October and finding out who the winner will be.’ Of this year’s finalists, ELLE editor and Rising Star judge Emilie Gambade says: ‘Judging the applications is an incredibly inspiring process, paging through the storyboards, the selection of fabric swatches and the technical sketches, but it’s also a serious and a difficult one as we were looking for the crème de la crème of fashion design on the continent. For the first time, we received entries from outside of South Africa and while none of them made it to the final selection, it’s our fervent desire to embrace more African entries in 2015.’

‘The seven finalists stood out because of their uniqueness and the care, passion and relevance that were evident in their storyboards; we are now looking forward to see how this translates into garments and flourishing careers.’
Style curator and fashion consultant, Jackie Burger says: ‘The 2014 finalists represent the new generation of designers with a unified modernist vision, a focused confidence and definitive design signature.’

Mr Price trend director and Rising Star judge Joanne Frederic says: ‘The brief for 2014 allowed the entrants the freedom to create their own ranges that are a reflection of their design aesthetic and what they want to stand for as a brand in the fashion industry. There were several strong standouts displaying creativity and a strong technical knowledge. These storyboards left us at a loss for words and counting down the days to seeing their vision on paper become a reality on the ramp – truly exciting.’

Letibalm Repair Balm for Nose and lips

So I never thought I would be blogging about Letibalm’s “Lip & Nose repair balm” but since I got the flu, you have no idea how much this product has helped me. So what exactly does Letibalm have to do with my flu well, during winter my lips got super dry and the area around my nose became very red & sensitive due to wiping (runny nose...sniff sniff)
So when I received this product and saw this is the only balm on the market that has been specially designed to care for lips, nose and the skin in between, it made perfect sense!
It’s crazy but it made having flu so much more bearable, as my lips was cared for and my sensitive nose-area was healing / improving. It was rather impressive.
The cool thing is you can either get it in a tube or in a tub, both is small enough to fit in anywhere so its travel convenient and actually works. As Letibalm is literally colourless on my lips I can even apply it over or under my favourite lipstick and no one would know, I promise xx
Letibalm Paediatric is suitable for children 0 to 8 years old and the regular Letibalm (10ml liquid tube or a 10ml jar).

Get your dose of Letibalm at Dis-Chem for R54.95

Give it a go and let me know what you think?
