#MeetYourMatte Competition

I am quiet a Matte Lipstick snob and when I find a good Matte lipstick I could  literally stand on top of a building and shout about it. But that's not quiet gonna happen today, I would much rather tell you all about it in this post!
Traditional matte lipsticks tend to be either too shiny or so powdery that they cake and dry out your lips. For true matte colour with lasting comfort that never cracks, cakes or compromises, we give you a formula that gives 100% velvety matte coverage that doesn’t crack. Keep lips defined and sculpted hour after hour!
Splendidly Fuchsia & Ruby Kiss
Superb Wine & BerryBlast
Au Naturale
I must say I've been so obsessed with these lippies and the Superb Wine colorway has been my absolute favourite!

A/W '16 Zando

This season invites you to celebrate your fashion individuality with a pinch of off-the-runway panache! Autumn Winter 16’s sheer fashion variation has a little something for everyone, leaving nothing to be desired.

This A/W '16 Zando highlights three key international trends that conveys the look from top to bottom, head to toe.
Fall Enthused
Taking inspiration from global street style and the compelling runways of Paris, London and New York, the Zando AW16 Utopia Collection explores a fierce yet classic approach to seasonal transition. With a strong emphasis on spiced hues and faux fur with a seasonal velvet touch – textures run dense and layered. With a strong emphasis on brand offering expansion, AW16 was built to not only highlight a stark colourway, but looked to incorporate a rich mosaic of florals and geometric pattern in order to amplify styling capability.
From the tasselled ankle or pixie boot to a basic and most delicate court heel, lace up brogue, or pistol boot, Free Fall’in ensures something for every kind of gal out on the town or hitting

Below are my 3 favourite pieces on
Transparency was the hard-hitting inspiration for Free Fall’in this AW16. I wanted the aesthetic to be clean and simple but not ‘clinical’, allowing the autumnal colours to pop against the white background. We used supporting props that screamed urban chic with a modern flare.

Kick up the wow factor this season with glittering Luxeffects. Fringed, frilled, flared and tasseled, essie’s newest collection of highly embellished top coats was inspired by the hottest trend on the runways: hypnotic fringe. These 4 brilliantly sparkling Luxeffects capture free-spirited decadence with a boho touch. Featuring slivers and paillettes of essie’s signature metallic and iridescent glitters, these Luxeffects are a bubbly, confetti-fueled party for nails that push the fashion envelope. It’s an easy way to add breathtaking drama in seconds.
1) frilling me softly
Frilling it and killing it. Dazzling platinum silvers and shattered cobalt knock ‘em down with a feathery touch
 2) fringe factor
What is it about this glittering shadowy silver and iridescent pink confetti that makes it so irresistible? Fringe. Gets ‘em every time
 3) fashion flares
Burst onto the scene in star-worthy denim and this mirrored fuchsia glitter that
lights up the night
 4) tassel shaker
Hypnotize with every move you make in this seductive alloy of copper and bronze micro glitter

Review: Dove Nutritive Solutions

Dove Hair recently ran a survey to gauge the kind of relationship women have with their hair and how their hair makes them feel. The results showed that a woman’s relationship with her hair elicits various emotions.
80% percent of women surveyed felt that their hair affected their day to day mood.
Hair is often seen as an important extension of who we are, however we all have different relationships with our hair and like any relationship, progressing or retaining a long term positive bond with your hair takes time, commitment and trust.
In light of this, Dove has relaunched their hair care range with the aim to offer women a long term solution for their hair. The new Dove Nutritive Solutions two way care system gives the immediate results of hair repair (shinier, silkier and smoother hair), coupled with the long term benefits achieved from progressive nourishment.
Further insights from the survey suggest that women are purchasing a variety of, often unnecessary, products in the hope of finding short term solutions to their hair health. With only 40% of women surveyed currently being faithful to one particular product, there seems to be a disconnection or lack of trust and commitment with some consumers, as 50% admitted to changing their hair products every three months.
“It is important for women to understand the needs of their hair, which differs from person to person, in order to truly give your hair the care it requires. Feeling confident about your hair will have positive effects in all aspects of your life. This is why Dove is committed to helping women build a loving long term relationship with their hair that makes them feel confident and provide a reliable source of happiness,” concludes Mjadu. More about the new Dove Nutritive Solutions range:

There are four unique product collections within the Dove Nutritive Solutions range:
*INTENSIVE REPAIR is the best solution in the core range for damaged hair. The
formulas deeply nourish and help to repair even the most damaged hair*

*DAILY MOISTURE protects normal hair from the daily wear and tear of life.

*COLOUR CARE is designed to provide progressive nourishment to coloured hair.

at the deepest level, smoothing up to 100% of roughness and controlling frizz*.

I was so excited to check out day 1 of London Fashion Weekend, The designers who showcased their SS16 collections in were Emilia Wickstead, Holly Fulton, Mary Katrantzou and Temperley London.

TRAVEL: Exploring London: Part 1

So it's been a rough couple of days post-London and I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and not feeling as tired as what I did when I got back. I've always heard of people talking about jet-lag and the craze of being in different time zones. But I totally get what its about now... Please beware that this post will definitely be picture heavy as I would like to share with you some of the amazing adventures I got to go on while being in London. Ill have to do this post 2 parts, this post would be more about the touristy things I did and ill do another post focused specifically on London Fashion Weekend!
We arrived and it was much colder than what I expected, yes I was told over and over again, to pack warm. Naughty me, didn't think it would be that cold, but thankfully I survived! It was really awesome to see all the famous landmarks as it's generally what I get to see in movies and not in real life, I was totally that kid in the candy store.
On day 1 when we arrived in London we took a walk down the north end of the Palace of Westminster and then passed the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. It has the most beautiful scenery and the area has such an awesome vibe. I was travelling along side Lauren & Angelique which were winners of the trip to London sponsored by Foschini.
Even though it was just day 1 we were totally excited when passing the 1st souvenir shop and couldn't help to stop and shop for gifts. Seeing the Tower Bridge was an total biggie for me, I think any girl that has watched the "Spice Girls" movie  a thousand times would have loved to see this bridge. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London.
We got around London using the Underground tube which at first was completely confusing but until just before I left had become something I actually enjoyed using. The transport system is nothing short of amazing and can literally take you to any spot in London! On Day 2 we then decided to take a walk through Kensington palace gardens, I was in absolute awe of how beautiful it is... Was hoping Kate and William would peak through the window and wave x
No London tour is complete without the Mandatory Original Red Bus Tour. With over 80 conveniently located bus stops across London and countless photo opportunities, The Original Tour really is the best way to see London and its famous landmarks.
This has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. This is only a small snippet of what I got up to, please check out the next post which you would then be able to see what I got up-to at London Fashion Weekend!
